BYU baseball: pitcher Saenz transfers from Oklahoma

Kenny Saenz, a 5-foot-8 left-handed junior pitcher from Corpus Christi, Texas, via the University of Oklahoma has transferred to play for BYU baseball.

Saenz had 16 appearances in two years as a relief pitcher for Oklahoma but recorded no career decisions in 13 innings and a 3.46 earned run average with the Sooners. None of those appearances came in the four games between BYU and Oklahoma in 2015 at Las Vegas.

“We recruited Kenny intensely during his high school years and we couldn't be more excited he decided to attend BYU after a couple years at Oklahoma,” BYU coach Mike Littlewood said.
