Linebacker Harvey Langi was called on by head coach Kalani Sitake to play running back against Massachusetts and he ran in his first touchdown at BYU from five yards out. KJ Hall ran in his second touchdown in as many weeks from the 11-yard line to help the Cougars lead the Minutemen 14-9 at the half.
BYU quarterback Taysom Hill started the game with a lost fumble, but has improved his stat line to 16 of 23 for 147 yards. He also rushed for 43 yards on six carries. Receiver Moroni Laulu-Pututau is leading the Cougars in receiving with 42 yards on five receptions.
