Former BYU WR Mathews reportedly signed to Browns practice squad

Former BYU wide receiver Mitch Mathews has been looking for an NFL home since being released by the Kansas City Chiefs on Aug. 30.

He may have found one.

According to his agent Brett Tessler, the rookie Mathews will sign with the Cleveland Browns practice squad. No official word has been released by the team as of Monday night.

The Cleveland Browns are signing Mitch Mathews (WR, BYU) to their p-squad. Worked out there recently & was in camp w/the Kansas City Chiefs.

Mathews signed a rookie free-agent deal with Kansas City after going undrafted in this year's NFL draft.
