PROVO — For the first time this season, BYU is getting ready to face a team from a non-Power 5 conference.
But that doesn’t necessarily mean the Cougars, who have lost three consecutive games, have a break in their schedule.
Toledo, from the Mid-American Conference, invades LaVell Edwards Stadium Friday (8:15 p.m., MDT, ESPN2) and it returns several starters from a team that posted a 10-2 record last season with victories over Arkansas and Iowa State.
This season, the Rockets are 3-0 and boast a high-scoring offense.
“A lot of their players are from the Ohio area and Pennsylvania.
