Mangum wrote about how a roommate, who had recently joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, spoke in church services on Sunday and said "exactly what I needed to hear."
"They were an answer to my prayers," he wrote. "They hit me, inspired me, and I couldn't help but feel overcome with gratitude for his simple yet moving message.
