The Louisiana Tech Bulldogs released their week one depth chart on Tuesday in advance of their opener against Northwestern State. We know J’Mar Smith is the starting quarterback, but who else will get the start for the Dawgs?
Offense
Redshirt sophomore J’Mar Smith at QB is no surprise. His backup will be Weston Elliot, a sophomore JUCO transfer from Blinn College. No third string QB is listed, although there are a few others on the roster. Skip Holtz has been known to use three QBs in blowouts, so if it gets to that point it will be interesting to see if someone else takes the field.
