Indoor Track & Field Awards Announced

NEW ORLEANS - The Sun Belt Conference Indoor Track and Field Athletes of the Year were announced on Friday as voted on by the league’s head coaches.

Texas State's Tramesha Hardy was named the Women's Most Outstanding Track Performer while South Alabama's Kaitlyn Beans was tabbed as the Women's Most Outstanding Field Performer. UTA's Astrid Rosvall was honored as the Women's Freshman of the Year and the Women's Newcomer of the Year honors went to Coastal Carolina's Annie Bothma.

Texas State's Jody Stewart was named the league's Women's Indoor Track & Field Head Coach of the Year following the Bobcats' second indoor title in the last three seasons.
