GSU and Furman Split Doubleheader in Greenville
GREENVILLE, S.C. – Georgia State split the doubleheader Wednesday at Furman to move to 19-15 on the season. The Panthers fell 10-4 in Game 1, but rallied to take the second game 4-0.
Game 1: GSU 4, Furman 10
Georgia State jumped out to a 2-0 lead as Kensey Caldwell doubled to the right field wall with one out in the first inning, scoring Reagan Morgan and Ivie Drake to put GSU on the board. Furman responded with a run in the bottom of the first to make it a 2-1 score.
