UT Arlington Captures Third Sun Belt Community Service Award

NEW ORLEANS – UT Arlington student-athletes have been active volunteers as evidenced by their third win in the Sun Belt Conference's Monthly Community Service Award.

UTA student-athletes collected over 450 clothing items last month that were donated to Mission Arlington – a service that assists people with their physical and mental health needs. Other community service projects included creating motivational cards that encourage students to stay in school, raising over $650 for two charitable organizations, and collecting over 50 canned food items.

UTA also won the monthly award for this past November and December.
