The pre-dawn fire is burning in a two-story, vacant building at 213 Capen St., District Chief Mario Oquendo Jr. said. No one was injured.
Pictures of the burning structure show that it is fully-engulfed in flames. The fire is so intense, firefighters could not try to fight it from inside the building and are in “defensive” mode, putting water on it from outside, Oquendo said.
